The Mighty Jet Band performs original lyric-driven blues-toned rock. An assembly of experienced musicians, their style has been called “deft and spontaneous,” and their sound and genre called “intelligent blues.” Politically astute but not egregiously nutritious, they have appeared on the main stage at the Ithaca Festival, as well as Ithaca’s Apple Harvest Festival. They routinely play at local venues as well as surrounding counties… At the moment they are pursuing sites in Paris, Prague and at the Ponte Vecchio in Florence. They have played in basements, and would consider rooftops and zoos.
